Foundations of Thai Yoga Massage 2 is designed for those seeking to deepen their understanding of traditional Thai Yoga Massage techniques. This continuation course builds on the knowledge presented in Foundations 1, focusing on more intricate movements and holistic healing practices to enhance practitioner skills.

Participants will explore additional poses and refine their ability to provide therapeutic and restorative care. The class incorporates hands-on practice and theoretical insights, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. Ideal for professionals and dedicated learners, this event offers an opportunity to elevate your expertise in this traditional healing art. Upon completion, you will have 8 hours of continuing education credit. Combined with Foundations 1, participants will have enough knowledge to give up to two hour long massage sessions.

Essentials of Cupping

Use cupping therapy safely in your practice, including treatment flow and body mechanics.

Class Description

In this class we will cover everything you need to begin using cupping therapy safely in your practice, including treatment flow and body mechanics, as well as ideas for treating specific issues. We’ll practice using and applying cups across the whole body, giving you the confidence to add this into a full session to supplement your existing toolbox of work. This class will help you to confidently incorporate cupping therapy and give your clients the best care, with a focus on safety and good medical sanitation practices. I will provide all of the cups for the class, and have a variety of cups for you try out. This class will focus on the use of soft silicone and the hard plastic cups with a manual pump.

Medical Massage Essentials: MVA Treatment

Being able to properly treat a motor vehicle accident injury is crucial for any medical massage therapist as it is so common.

Class Description

This is a special area of interest for me as I’ve been treating MVA injuries for my whole massage career, as my first job was in a medical massage clinic. This class is designed to enhance your treatment of someone who has been in an MVA and give you the confidence to help them recover. While a lot of the techniques will focus on the neck, most motor vehicle injuries involve areas across the whole body so we’ll also discuss full body implications and work on the shoulders, clavicle, diaphragm, obliques, iliopsoas, hips, and lower leg. We will also cover the healing phases following an MVA, treatment arc and timelines, medical charting and billing, and the trauma caused by a car accident.

Hello! I'm Eddy Pace, and I've been a licensed massage therapist in WA state for over 15 years, and a certified personal trainer through NASM for 7 years. I've practiced massage therapy full time for most of that time. I'm currently enrolled in a Masters of Science in Kinesiology through A.T. Still University. I'm also a musician, an avid music lover, and I love my family.

Ever since I graduated from massage school, I've always been most interested in medical and orthopedic massage, and helping people minimize pain and recover from injuries. Taking continuing education classes is one of my favorite things, and over the years, I've taken many. I also love to watch technique videos and study books on both anatomy and massage therapy techniques and theory.

I'm very passionate about mentoring newer therapists and supporting my colleagues. I was born and raised in Spokane Valley, so I'm proud to serve our Spokane community and bring quality education to our therapists.

The Regulated Healer: Trauma Informed Foundations for Practice

Class Description

Trauma shows up in bodywork more often than we’re taught to recognize.
This in-person, experiential ethics course supports massage therapists, bodyworkers, and healers in learning how to meet trauma responses with clarity, safety, and ethical confidence — without burning out or overextending themselves.

Trauma is not something that only appears in therapy rooms — it often shows up quietly on the massage table, through the nervous system, the breath, or the body’s protective responses.

As massage therapists and bodyworkers, we are already working with trauma physiology — whether we have the language for it or not.

This 8-hour, in-person ethics course offers a grounded, embodied understanding of trauma and the nervous system, and how to apply trauma-informed principles ethically and practically within massage therapy sessions.

Rather than focusing solely on rules or compliance, this course emphasizes relational ethics, nervous system awareness, and presence — supporting both client safety and practitioner sustainability.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this 8-hour course, you will be able to:

Define trauma and understand its effects on the nervous system and body
Recognize trauma responses that may arise during massage sessions
Apply trauma-informed principles directly to bodywork and touch
