Therapeutic Connections School of Massage

Welcome to TCSM!

…a Hands-On Education with an Apprenticeship Approach.

Educational Mission

Therapeutic Connections School of Massage offers a program that allows students to be creative in their independent expression because their knowledge and understanding is built on a rock-solid foundation of the core skills necessary for effective massage therapy.

The School

Therapeutic Connections School of Massage is located on Spokane, Washington’s beautiful South Hill. The neighborhood is quiet and tranquil and offers the perfect environment for students who wish to learn massage. The massage school classroom shares a building with Spokane Yoga Shala, with an expansive 500 square feet of open space that allows students to move comfortably around the tables as they perfect their massage technique. Our Washington State approved massage school is easily accessible from both 1-90 and downtown Spokane.

The Program

While studying to become a Certified Massage Practitioner in this ten-month program, each student will take courses that include Practice and Theory of Massage, Musculoskeletal, Systems of the Human Body, Business/Marketing, and Pathology. In addition, students will have ongoing opportunities to practice their craft in the hands-on environment of the student clinic.

After graduation from the Professional Massage Practitioner Program, students will have completed 560 hours of instruction to earn a diploma and become eligible to take the national certification exam (or other state approved exam). Upon successful completion of this exam, graduates will then to apply to the Department of Health to become licensed in the State of Washington.

Continuing Education

The educational path of healing and bodywork is nearly unlimited, as there are so many opportunities to earn continuing education units to upgrade your skills and keep your license in good standing.
